Mohamed Salah fast becoming Premier League Top Player
The Egyptian scored twice in Liverpool 4 - 1 demolition of West Ham at the London Stadium, helping the Reds to hit remarkable 10 goals across three consecutive wins.
Salah enjoyed great interplay with the returning Saido Mane, with the former providing to lovely assists for his African brother, they caused West Ham back lines lots of problems with their pace through out the game.
According to Jamie Carragher , Mo Salah can hit 25 goals in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
Carragher continues by saying that Salah signing is as impressive as the Sadio Mane one last summer, and we agree with him on that wholeheartedly.
To think, we got the pair for a combined fee of around £70m and already, that price wouldn’t secure one of them!
“When I saw Salah score his first for the club at Watford on the opening day, I felt this was a player who would score 15 this season. I underestimated. He is on schedule to get 25.
“The Egyptian is more than a traditional winger. He is a wide striker with the ability to get into goalscoring positions every time he plays.
“Just as with the signing of Sadio Mane in 2016, [Liverpool] have spent very well in bringing Salah back to England after his disappointing spell at Chelsea.”
With Salah Scoring like this he might equal Suarez 31 goals in Premier League, when Liverpool finished second in the the league behind Manchester City.
This will be the defining run of our season. If Salah can continue scoring at the current rate, we’ll have a chance in any game.
Lets hope Mane and philippe Coutinho remains fit all season to supply the man of the moment with assists.
