THINGS WE LEARNT FROM THE EPL MATCHDAY SEVEN

With the international break upon us now ,here are what we learnt from the EPL match day seven.

MANCHESTER CITY A TEAM TO BEAT
Firmly tipped by pundits as favorite for the title, the citizens are also living up to expectations as they stroll past Chelsea the reigning champions at Stamford bridge. Although with a respectable scoreline, they gain more possession in the ball and also regain lose balls immediately, they capped their performance with a stunning strike from an ex Chelsea employee KDB.

MANCHESTER UNITED TITLE CONTENDERS
The red side of Manchester also strolled past a weak crystal palace side who are yet to score in the league, and are tipped as relegation favourite this season.
Manchester united are able to put 4 goals past their opponent more often this season, although they are yet to face their bitter rivals which will answer the question
Will the 4 goals crushing continue?

THE NEW JOHN TERRY
Although Chelsea the reigning champions had lost a game to one of the title rivals, admit a poor home outing against a superb city side. Players like Christensen also showed class as he replaced suspended Luiz at d heart of the Chelsea defence. He won more tackles and aerial duels than any other Chelsea player ; he did not commit a single foul on the pitch. He could be the new John Terry Chelsea will have.

POOR DEFENSE COST LIVERPOOL
Liverpool have been victims of poor defensive display in their recent fixtures, it also happened when they took the lead against a resilient Newcastle side as the lead didn't last when Matip and Lovern failed to deal with Joselu as he grabbed the equalizer for Newcastle.

ARSENAL TOP 4 HOPES ALIVE
Brighton may not have been a tough opponent to the gunners but they did not hesitate to grab the important win at the Emirates ,to keep the top 4 hopes alive. Iwobi was on the score sheet just a day after Arsene Wenger asked about his current form. The youngster is surely a player to watch in Arsenal fight for top four.
