SEVILLA PRESIDENT MOCKS LIVERPOOL

Taking digs on opponents are a common thing in the football world. Coaches, players and sometimes club presidents are all guilty of this. With Sevilla battling to a 3 all draw with Liverpool during their Champions League game on Tuesday, Sevilla president had somethings to say.

Sevilla president Jose Castro hailed his team's stunning comeback against Liverpool on Tuesday night. After a disastrous first-half, Sevilla fought back to earn a 3-3 draw against the usual error-prone Liverpool defence.
Castro, afterwards, hailed the home fans, claiming they had a huge influence on the result.

"We had a bad first-half and then a very good second-half, the stadium has been like an electric chair today," Castro beamed during the post match interview.

"In the second half we have fought back to live a new magical night in the Pizjuán, today the 'Never surrender' has been better than the 'Never walk alone'."

With Liverpool's slogan being 'we never walk alone', the Spanish club's president clearly took a dig on Liverpool, by claiming that their 'never surrender' slogan is better.
