KLOPP SHIFTS THE BLAME AS LIVERPOOL FAIL TO WIN

Chelsea salvaged a draw against Liverpool when the two sides met over the weekend at Anfield. With Liverpool dominating the game for several hours, Chelsea through William's goal, were able to get a point from the game.

The Brazilian scored a sumptuous goal after coming on as a substitute. His goal leveled the scores and the match ended a 1 all draw.

With most Anfield faithfuls directing the blame to Mignolet, and some to the Liverpool defence at large, Jurgen Klopp has his own opinion.

Klopp during the post match interview shifted the blame of Liverpool's loss to the referee.

"the referee changed the game, he allowed play to continue even when we had indicated we wanted to make a change. We wanted to revert to five at the back, but that wasn't possible because he didn't stop play so that we could make our change".

He continued "you know it's difficult to mark Hazard. With two players, that's difficult, but with three maybe not. So we wanted to bring in that player. But before we could make the change, Willian scored".

"I don't blame the players, I don't blame Mignolet, no keeper would have got that ball. The defenders were hard working, they did well. But I think the referee changed the game" he concluded.
