REASON WHY MICHAEL EMENALO RESIGN FROM CHELSEA

Michael Emenalo decision to quit his post as Chelsea Technical Director has taken everyone by surprise as he's one of the key figures in Chelsea Football Club, his decision is a major blow to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic, considering how much he loved working with him, he went as far as by saying that Emenalo is among the people he trust and take advise from .

Emenalo has been a prominent figure in Chelsea Football club ever since they acquired his service from Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, The former Boston University graduate has been largely responsible player recruitment and Chelsea’s vast youth network, some of his recruits turned out bad while many of them developed to super stars, Eden Hazard is one of his most successful business for Chelsea, there are likes of Thibaut Courtois, Cesar Azpilicueta, Kevin De Bruyne who is now plying his trade with Manchester City and Romelu Lukaku who is with Manchester United, he spent 10 years in Chelsea working with some top managers, such as Jose Mourinho, Avram Grant, Felipe Scolari, Carlo Ancelotti, Antonio Conte and lots more.

I think Emenalo decision to step down is mainly down to Chelsea poor showing this season and Conte calming the club did not back him to sign his primary transfer target during the transfer window, which caused tension between Conte, Emenalo and director Marina Granovskaia.

According to Michael Emenalo "This has been a very difficult decision to make, but one I believe is right for both myself and my family, and the club," Emenalo said. "I have had the privilege to work alongside some of the most talented people in the world of sport over the past 10 years, and I will depart incredibly proud of the achievements we have made. I wish Chelsea every success and look forward to following the club’s future triumphs from afar.’

It is unclear what Emenalo plans to do next or whether Chelsea will immediately attempt to replace him with a new technical director before the January transfer window. resigned
