Buffon Names The Toughest Striker He Has Ever Faced

Buffon is one of only 18 players to have made atleast 1,000 professional career appearances. The legendary Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon named the toughest striker he has ever faced in his career and it’s not Lionel Messi also it’s not Cristiano Ronaldo. Rather, the toughest striker according to Buffon is the Brazilian legend, Ronaldo Nazario.

According to Buffon, Ronaldo was “created in a lab.”
Ronaldo had a fabulous record, winning titles with PSV, Inter, Barcelona and Real Madrid, also leading Brazil to two world cups in 1994 and 2002. He also won FIFA player of the Year award thrice and Ballon d’Or twice.
The striker who caused me all kinds of trouble was Ronaldo, the Brazilian one.” the Juve goalkeeper told Marca.
“He was the perfect player, as he had power, speed, intuition, technical skills and quickness. He was a jaw-dropping player.”
“It seemed like he was created in a lab.”
